Every year the Jewish people will celebrate the Jewish New Year. Every year it goes by without we Christians even knowing it has passed. It is not on our religious calendar, but maybe it should be. For those of us that look forward to the Lord's return, it may be the most important event of the ages. It is called Rosh Hashanah or the Feast of Trumpets. This may be the day that Jesus will fulfill this feast and come for his Church. Mark it on your calendar every year and thank God for His promise that someday His Son will call us to worship before His Throne with the sound of His (Shofar) Trumpet. (Mt. 25:36-42 & 1 Th.4:11-18 "Wherefore, comfort one another with these words.")
